When you tag a particular web resource, additional statistics along with a percentage bar appear in relevant nodes in the HyperLink TreeView dynamic report. For tagged resources in the TreeView, Analyzer will show the percentage of visitors that reach your resource, enter on a particular page, or from a particular referrer for every node in the TreeView.
Analyzer doesn't produce a separate report for tagged resources apart from enhancing the HyperLink TreeView.
Tag Editor Operations include:
Add: Add a new resource tag to the list.
Edit: Edit the currently selected resource tag. You can also double-click to edit.
Delete: Delete the currently selected resource tag.
Tag Label: The tag label appears as text in the HyperLink TreeView. It should be short yet descriptive. Since Analyzer color codes the tag with the tag type, you may not need to include that information in the label.
There are three kinds of tags that you can define, as follows:
Any Page tags match one or more pages or web resources according to the match text you enter. In the HyperLink TreeView, for every site transition you will see the percentage of visitors who also visited a matching page or resource at any time during their session.
Referrer tags match one or more referrers. Use wildcards to match groups of referrers together, such as " *google* ". In the HyperLink TreeView, Analyzer will display the percentage of visitors that came from that referrer who also made the displayed traversal.
Site Entry tags match one or more site entry pages. Use wildcards to match site entry pages across your entire site, such as " *mailer* ". In the HyperLink TreeView, Analyzer will display the percentage of visitors that entered at that page who also made the displayed traversal.
Match Pages With: You can enter a complete filename or referrer, or use wildcards to match sets of pages or groups of referrers.
