Project Editor - File Tracking

FastStats Analyzer can track the popularity of a file, set of files, web resources, or directory over a specified period of time.

To track an individual file you can type a complete path name if you wish, or you can enter wildcards to match the beginning part of it. For example, if the file you wish to track is named faq and is in your support directory, you can track *support/faq.html and as long as the tracked entry matches only your one support file, that's the one that Analyzer will track.

You can also track everything in an entire directory. For example, tracking "*/support/*" will track all files in any support directory across your entire site, as a group.

Tracked file entries are case sensitive.

Quick Examples:

To track just one file /directory/file.html or /file.html
To track requests to an entire directory /directory/*
To track requests of all .GIF files *.gif

Analyzer produces four reports for each tracked entry:

Add: Add a new entry to track to the list.

Edit: Edit the currently selected entry. You can also double-click on an entry to edit it.

Delete: Delete the currently selected item

Click “Next” to continue configuring your FastStats Analyzer report.
